This project explores materially deterministic design processes that are simultaneously digital and material. Fabric-formed concrete is both tested in full-scale material samples and simulated digitally using animation tools. These studies are deployed at multiple scales throughout the project, influencing exterior skin panelization and internal "squished" massing. This strategic interface between physical and digitally simulated material studies allows the same fabric-formed logic to resonate throughout multiple aspects of the project -- the "squish" as massing generator, spatial organizer, figural language, and material facade strategy all at once.
